An investment that is utilised 365 days of the year.
Conservatories are an asset to any home for many reasons for example: Extra living space; extra value to your home; somewhere to sit and relax, work – even take a nap!
Wouldn’t it be great to be able to use this space all year round?
Many Conservatory owners find there are thermal issues with their Conservatories which hinder them from doing just that. In particular those with a Polycarbonate roof. These types of roof offer virtually no benefits in the summer or the winter, in particular the energy you lose through the Polycarbonate roof in the winter which can make the rest of the house cooler too, and in the summer the hot glare from the sun could make it an unbearable environment. With a standard glass roof you can experience these problems too. In particular the sun’s glare.
Mr. and Mrs. Gore had a roof upgrade to their Conservatory. Previously an old polycarbonate roof, they decided that a Real Roof was more suitable for its purpose. Thermally more efficient and structurally more long-lasting they wanted a new roof that would compliment their house and create a more versatile living space. They were so impressed with their first upgrade they decided to upgrade the Conservatory on the other side of the house too!
Lovely job. Very pleased with the service.
The Real Roof structure will accommodate most tiles including clay and there are many colour choices and different styles you can choose for your Real Roof Conservatory.
We recommend using Envirotile as we feel they compliment the Real Roof well and offer longevity as well as being fire retardant, unbreakable and weather retardant. Ultimately the choice is yours and we are happy to assist you in choosing the perfect tile for your conservatory.
A ‘U Value’ is a measure of heat loss in a building element such as a wall, floor or roof. It measures how well parts of a building transfer heat. This means that the higher the U Value the worse the thermal performance of the building envelope. A low ‘U Value’ indicates high levels of insulation.
In the current financial climate and with ever increasing energy prices it is imperative to be energy efficient right throughout your home, for example using A rated windows and doors, comparing energy prices and finding the cheapest supplier, turning down your heating and turning off lights around the home and sockets that aren’t being used. All this can seem a little waste of time if your heat is going literally ‘through the roof’. Now it doesn’t have to with our thermally efficient Tiled Conservatory Roof. A solid and insulated structure custom built to fit your Conservatory. The roof boasts a ‘U Value’ of 0.17.
Replacing your old conservatory roof with a traditional style roof may easier than you think, the above video shows how in under two days you can take your old roof off and fit a new highly insulated tiled roof with minimal disruption to your home and garden.
